Concerns about the adverse health effects of marijuana products are frequently dismissed as overblown. But if life experience and observation have shown you that weed is not harmless, you are not alone. There is a growing body of scientific data to support that view—especially now, in the era of legalization.

As recently as the 1990s, strong, hydroponic pot (referred to as “chronic”or “skunk”) contained 7-8% THC. Today, recreational cannabis strains sold at the retail point-of-sale typically contain anywhere from 15-25% THC—and that’s before even addressing all the extreme potency by-products like shatter, dabs, vape oils, and edibles. The cannabis industry is no longer a mom-and-pop affair. It’s a billion dollar business backed by cynical and profit-driven venture capital funds, and they don’t care who gets hurt.

Given the increased potency and inadequate regulation of these products, it is no wonder that in the era of legalization we are beginning to see a host of adverse societal and health effects, as a growing body of medical data and scientific research shows. These include:

Cannabis psychosis

Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome which can be deadly

and Cannabis Use Disorder

If you have been diagnosed by a doctor with any of these three conditions within the last three years, you may be entitled to compensation for pain and suffering, and we want to hear from you. Call (505) 225-2623 to speak to an attorney NOW, or email aaron@latenightlaw.com
